The Treasurer serves as the banker and investment officer for all County funds. Interest earnings provide an additional source of revenue for the County and its various agencies.

Recent changes to state legislation EXEMPTED mobile homes from property taxes if the market value of the home is below $28,000.
If your mobile home falls under this category, you will no longer receive a tax bill.
Payments & documents may be deposited in our secure drop box, located curb side in the entrance of the accessible parking lot, directly north of the Citizens Service Center.
Current tax payments for all property types may be made by debit or credit by phoning (719) 520-7900. There is a non-refundable fee of 2.39% of the tax amount for credit cards or the flat fee of $3.95 for debit card transactions. Electronic payments can only be made until October 16th, 2024.
Online payments may be made on Real Estate and Mobile Home current year taxes from mid-January to October 16th. Fees are as follows:
Online payments may take at least three (3) business days for the payment to be posted to our website.
Requests for refunds of online payments should be directed to TRSWEB@ELPASOCO.COM. Please include your payment confirmation number. ACH refunds cannot be processed until 10 days after the funds were originally received.
